After a busy day I still hadn't had a proper walk and it was about 3pm and getting a bit overcast. I made myself walk down to the Mill on the river and was so glad I did. There were lots of daffodils out and blackthorn blossom. Also 2 beautiful swans came up to see what I had - nothing to eat I'm afraid. Anyway some photos
The gallery was closed but the exhibition will be on for a while yet. The walk was definitely worth the effort even if I did doze off on the sofa afterwards.
What beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Lovely.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your walk in followed by a good snooze on the couch.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely walk and what a perfect day for it. I can only imagine how lovely it is to meander down to this water, see the beautiful birds... it's spring where you are!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I feel very glad to live in a town but only a few minutes walk from the beautiful countryside. Lovely in all seasons.
ReplyDeleteHow super to have such a lovely walk close to home:)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos. You live in an enchanting place.

I appreciate your sharing your photos of the canal boats and the swans. I'm fascinated and enamored of the canal boats and would love to spend a month holiday on one, but doubt I will ever get to visit England since I am older and all. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I have not holidayed on the canals. Only day trips although we did have a week on a boat on the Norfolk Broads.
