and the germs. I had another few days with DD in Clacton. We had quite good weather most of the time. Cold but sunny and dry. DD is limited as to what she can do due to ME which came on after swine flu and secondary infections 10 years ago. Short walks with her greyhound was recommended by the ME clinic and although she has to lay down afterwards she still does it. There is a lovely country park nearby so she drives there and lets the dog have a run round with other dogs and also is able to interact with other dog walkers. I enjoyed walking with her and watching the dogs playing. I needed my wellies though.
One day while DD was resting I got the bus down to the town and walked along the sea front. It was invigorating and relaxing.
I walked back along the road as there are lots of old interesting buildings. A few years ago DB and I had a holiday in an apartment in the art deco Oulton Hall. It was great to be able to walk across the road for a swim every day. I couldn't resist taking a picture of this model owl on a porch.
I am looking forward to some good walks in my own area while everything I normally do is restricted.
I do love those buildings. I'm sure after the flu and the ME (I'm not sure what that is but it doesn't sound good) that she will be sheltering in place as we are. I hope you all stay very safe. The views you shared are so lovely. Both the interesting buildings and the wonderful water shots. Water is so calming.
ReplyDeletePlease take care, Jean. And thanks for stopping by Marmelade Gypsy!
Thank you. There are so many lovely things to look at aren't there. I hope you and yours stay safe too.
ReplyDeleteI love walking by the seashore, the sound of the waves is so relaxing. It's just a shame that we don't live nearer to the coast so that I can do it more often than I do.
